Steven Papa developed a strong background in excavation, foundation installation and framing while working in the masonry trade from 1976 to 1987. In 1988, Steven founded Steven A. Papa, Builder. He built his business on buying and developing residential home sites, including several subdivisions, and building custom homes and speculative homes for sale upon completion. Steven established a strong reputation as a quality craftsman in Delaware, Chester and Montgomery Counties. He has done extensive work in Edgmont and Newtown Square.

Steven’s son, Joe Papa, joined the business in 2007 quickly becoming an invaluable partner and increasing the range of services and availability for customers. They are now able to provide clients with the best new custom crafted homes as well as new kitchens and baths, great rooms, in-law suites and expansive multi-story additions to accommodate their needs and dreams. Many of their customers are repeat clients, choosing Steven A. Papa, Custom Builder to return for updates and additions knowing that the project will be done as expected, on budget and on time.

The company has built 31 new homes along with numerous additions and renovations to existing homes. Steven and Joe credit the success of the company to the positive relationships they have built with customers and the vital long-standing business relationships they have developed with subcontractors and suppliers.
